Prevent Multiple Instances of Playlist Contents *** Luke Scott - [email protected] This one is more of a suggested discussion topic rather than a feature to add - should ZINF allow multiple instances of a song to be put into a playlist? If ZINF prevented duplicates from being added, that would allow a user to say "I don't remember if I added this song yet, so I'll just add it again". This would be especially helpful with very long playlists, where it is somewhat difficult to search through a playlist every time a user wants to check if a song has been added yet. Also, it prevents the following situation: A user... -adds Kid A to his/her playlist -Adds the "Study" playlist contents to his/her playlist, which also contains Kid A. -loads the playlist into the player contents -sorts the player contents by artist-album-track Now, there will be two copies of each track on Kid A, with each one playing twice in a row before going to the next one. This is VERY frustrating when you just want to hear an album in order! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
