just thought of an addition to this one... I don't know if it's been mentioned yet because I'm new to the list, but shouldn't the "My Playlists" tree expand all the way to the songs that are on it, the same way that "My Music" does? That would allow playing just a subset of a playlist, rather than the whole list. It could list the songs singly or grouped by artist. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Luke Scott Sent: Saturday, July 26, 2003 4:12 PM To: Zinf-Devel Subject: [Zinf-devel] Add Folder & Genre Navigation Items Add Folder & Genre Navigation Items *** Luke Scott - [email protected] It would be very easy to add items on the "My Music" navigation panel to browse through songs by folder and genre, in the same way as Artists and Playlists currently are. "Folders" and "Genres" would be items that are displayed beneath "My Playlists". "My Folders": each folder that has been identified by the user as a music folder (under View->Options->Folders) would be a sub-folder of the "My Folders" root. Songs in each folder are listed singly, rather than by artist/album like they are in "my music". "Genres": Each distinct genre that has been catalogued by ZINF would show up as a sub-folder of the "Genres" root, and beneath each genre songs could be grouped by artist & album (like they are for "My Music") or listed singly. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
