I'm using autoconf 2.57, gcc 3.2 and GNU make 3.80. I started out this monumental project by download and configuring and compiling zinf-2.2.4.tar.gz; that's when the trouble began. I got the error about symbol context being undeclared. I don't run X on my box so don't wanna install all that X related crap like gtk and getext and whatever else. I was told that the cvs version had a bug fix around the requirement for gtk. I'm guessing that if the CVS version had an existing configure script like the tarball does, I could have jumpped off from there more easily. Would it be possible to just put the configure script in the CVS versions? -- Make sure your E-mail can be read by everyone! http://www.betips.net/etc/evilmail.html ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
