Basically when you connect to the "button-press-event" signal, if you use gtk_signal_connect_after, then you only seem to get the event when a click occurs in an area of the control without any tree in it. on the otherhand, if you use gtk_signal_connect, the double clicking starts to work, but you can no longer manipulate the control with the mouse. > BTW..
