RE: (no subject)

Hi Jim,

First of all, thank you very much for all your help.  I had a what I
thought unrelated problem with Windows Media Player not connecting to
the Internet although I have cable. It thought I was never connected.  I
even reinstalled Win XP over my current XP thinking that might help.  It
didn't.  Finally reading and reading I reinvestigated the 
Zone Alarm Pro which I have.  It never runs upon launching XP but when I
went into the info it said that Zinf and WMP were ticked off as not
allowing info to come through.  So, I ticked them to allow and now Zinf
is working perfectly.  It's really strange though because I thought if
Zone Alarm is not launching, it's not supervising but it still was.  I
feel really stupid for bothering you and would really like to thank you
and all the people who replied offering their help.

Hi Andre,
As an aside, I saw some previous messages about
people's difficulties with Real Player.  RP seems to
be the software that ate Cleveland, and I got rid of
it for that reason.  It "fights" with Media Player and
with Zinf, so...sayonara.
Anyway, what I've been doing is downloading the entire
album from eMusic onto my desktop.  Then I doubleclick
the album's icon, which causes Zinf's download manager
to open automatically and begin downloading the
individual songs.  (You're probably not doing this,
but I'll mention it: if you are not properly logged in
to eMusic, you'll get HTML files -- not the .rmp files
you need.  Or, if the album is "not available outside
North America...", and you yourself reside outside
N.A., you'll get the same useless HTML file.
