I downloaded 2.2.1 (windows) and it reads the new emp files OK. I use the Opera web browser which makes it easy to control what app opens whatever filetype. I hope this helps, but whether it applies to linux? Installed finally on SuSE 8.1, one thing you have to watch for is the config file status. Unlike many other programs it will continue on despite some failures (gdk-config being one of them). Also SuSE 8.1 comes with musicbrainz, had more luck with that one than the one from source. Only problem is emusic album downloads, doesn't like me :). Tried changing the extension to .rmp and tried to open it in Zinf, but it said it was a corrupted file and so skipped it. Any other thoughts on getting the download manager to work?
