make error - missing id3/tag.h

Hey folks,

I'm trying to install zinf-2.2.2 on my suse 7.0 system
(kernel 2.4.20) and I keep getting errors about a 
missing id3/tag.h header file when issuing "make":

plm/metadata/id3lib/id3lib.cpp:41: id3/tag.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [plm/metadata/id3lib/id3lib.lo] Error 1

Doing a "find" within the zinf sourcetree tells me that
tag.h is located here:
plm/metadata/id3v2/

So why is the id3lib.cpp looking for it in "id3/" and what
can i do about it? Tweaking the corresponding #include line
doesn't help.

(I don't have GTK and FreeType installed because I'd like
to use zinf on the console only but I don't think that
this causes the error. I do have installed the musicbrainz
library though.)
