build system is being fixed which should help package maintainers as it 
will be brought up to date with the latest configure programs.

As for EMP and such, i'm not aware of any active developers that use 
emusic.  So  debugging for emusic support is not currently a priority or 
a possibility.  If someone who uses emusic wants to fix things, they're 
more than welcome to submit patches.  Otherwise what you'll end up 
getting emp wise in the next version is what you're getting with this 
version.
