Hi, I'm just discover Zinf and I find it really great. I just write a french manual for newbies : http://frimouvy.udev.org/formation/zinf/ I'm using zinf on my debian box and it works good. (I found a bug in a very tiny bug in "Search computer for music"). I was using XMMS before, and I look for some things in Zinf : - Console commands ! (to make shortcut in my WM, I really need it !) - Crossfade output plugin (really really useful !) I think those things can be found easily but I'm maybe wrong... If I was a coder, I maybe try to port the crossfade plugin. Do you think it's difficult ? Last thing, I use "Iris" visualisation plugin for xmms, but I think that zinf doesn't support any visualisation plugin. (I read in the mailing list archive about legal issues with winamp plugin, but it's perhaps different with xmms plugins) Thx for this great software, Ploum ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
