Hi everybody,

I've just installed zinf 2.2.2 onto my suse linux 8.0 box and when I try
to run it from a KDE konsole shell i get this strange window:

pim@linux:~> /usr/local/bin/zinf
Cannot create/open a semaphore. Is SYS V IPC installed?

Command Line Interface

 * q    Quit
 * +/=  Next Song
 * -    Prev Song
 * p    Pause / UnPause
 * s    Shuffle

 * f    Fast forward 10 seconds
 * F    Fast forward 1 min
 * j    Fast forward 10 min

 * b    Skip backwards 10 seconds
 * B    Skip backwards 1 min
 * J    Skip backwards 10 min

 * h Print these usage instructions
 * ? Print info including current location in file

cmdline.ui requires a song or playlist argument

then my console display craches (i can type text but it's no longer
displayed commands are executed though??)

i installed from souce allong with the id3 and musicbrainz libraries.
compiling and installing gave no errors but when i tried to run the
program it first asked for libmusicbrainz.so.1 even though it was
installed. I found out zinf was just looking in the wrong directory to
find the library so I created a symbolic link in /lib and the error was
gone but then it asked for libid3-3.8.so.3 so i created another symbolic
link and got the window above.

Please help me what should I do to get this thing working???

Thanks in advance,
Pim Schellart

(please forgive me for my bad english i'm dutch)
