Hey there,
I installed Zinf / Musicbrainz libraries from RPMs obtained from the
zinf.org website.
It all installed ok this time around (had a few problems on a previous
version) but now when I try to run it, I get the following message and
nothing else.
=------------------------------=
/usr/bin/zinf: relocation error: /usr/lib/libmusicbrainz.so.1: undefined
symbol: cerr
=------------------------------=
Here is the output from an ldd of /usr/bin/zinf just in case that helps.
=------------------------------=
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40023000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0 (0x40026000)
libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x40076000)
libmusicbrainz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libmusicbrainz.so.1 (0x4008a000)
libz.so.1 => /lib/libz.so.1 (0x40101000)
libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x40110000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/i686/libm.so.6 (0x401c2000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x401e4000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/libc.so.6 (0x401ed000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
=------------------------------=
Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated! I'm really looking
forward to using this instead of XMMS (I *really* need some library
management functions!).
Thanks and regards
William
