We are still trying to get the windows code caught up with
the linux code. There was a version as of september
of last year in CVS. We are in the prcoess of re-importing
those sources and seeing what has changed. If know how
to use CVS and feel like it, you can pull a copy down
from http://sourceforge.net/projects/zinfxp . This
is being re-integrated into the zinf proper, but it not quite there
yet. If you could give a hand (seeing as you use both linux and
windows) it would be appreciated.

The windows code has project files for VC++ 6, I've also
been interested in trying to cross-compile the windows
version from linux (see
http://introspector.sourceforge.net/dia_win32.htm )

One thing to try to do is start building the support
packages such as id3lib, zlib, etc.. with a mingw32
and see how it goes.
