Zinf Not Working

It worked when I first installed it, but somehow not now. When I click on the Zinf icon I get a little box that tells me some of the file formats have been taken by some other software and do I want Zinf to reclaim them. It doesn't matter whether I say yes or no. After I click one of them the box goes away and nothing else happens. I've tried reinstalling the software with the same results. I'm running Windows 98. Does anyone have a clue?
