Hi, Antti:  I used rpm -Uvh --nodeps packages and loaded everything for
zinf onto the RH8.0 distribution.  I can play mp3 files, just fine.

Now, I'm off to clean up my libvorbisfile.so.3 and other stuff to play
.ogg files.  Looks like we're off and running with zinf.  Thanks for
your pointers.
