Hello list.

I am a blind computer user who uses a screen reading program called Jaws 4.5 for gaining access to information on the screen. The impulses "read" by the screen reader are turned into speech by use of a software based speech synthesizer.

I have recently downloaded and installed Zinf because it is the program required to be used to download complete disks (rmp) from Emusic.

I have found that the Zinf player isn't not very accessible to the blind user. None of the controls on the screen will "read" with the speech program and there are no hot keys for accessing the program controls through the use of pull down menus. This was also true when Zinf used the FreeAmp name.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest how to make the controls more accessible. I'm afraid I don't have any programming knowledge so I can make no useful suggestions.

The creaters of the screen reader may be a good resource. Also, there is a list for blind user of audio programs on Yahoo Groups. Perhaps someone there can be helpful too. Subscribe at :

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to be able to contine to use E-music, but if I can't make Zinf work, I will have to unsubscribe. Any help I can offer I will. I appreciate your help in advance.
