problem with zinf + Linux + eMusic

Are there any other Linux-based emusic subscribers on the list? In the
past I've been able to feed emusic's .rmp files to Freeamp and download
that way, but now, with emusic using .emp, I am hosed. The download
manager opens but never downloads anything, or the player complains the
file is corrupted and does nothing. Switching to zinf doesn't help, though
it looks like zinf can't handle the .rmp files either.

Any help would be appreciated, as I don't know where to begin. I've sent
mail to eMusic, but they tend not to be helpful with technical problems.
