Hello Mike, I guess I was not thinking that this would be feature that we would want to force an update to the latest support code but upon second thought they would be expecting this function to immediately available to all consumers. There is certainly enough in this release that it could be moved to a 1.4 target ... mainly the xdg vars, config file directory move and eula support. Need to look over the functions to see what else might be useful to be public.
