Hi All,
Does anyone have any objections to switching the minimum version of
GLIBC to 2.3.x? 2.3.0 was released on 2002-10-03, which is pretty old.
There's a list of distros and their GLIBC version on this page:
http://trac.autopackage.org/wiki/GlibcVersionsOfDifferentLinuxDistributions
For those who know how GLIBC versions their software: Could there be
differences in the micro releases of glibc (2.3.2 -> 2.3.3, for
example)? 2.3.3 was released on 2004-08-03, so maybe we should target
that one instead?
There's a ticket related to this: http://trac.autopackage.org/ticket/20
