Hi Isak,
Finally Autopackage is working for me. Thanks for you quick responses.

I guess one of the primary issues was "Autopackage Development 
Environment 1.2.4-2.package". I reinstalled it and every thing fell into 
its rightful place.
Now that "hello World" is done, I will start with my actual project.

So that other beginners do not  face similar issues, I will note down 
every step and send a mail to this forum ASAP. I will also attach this 
/dummy package/ including your /Makefile/ and /apspec/.
