Hi pals,

I know this is not directly related to Autopackage, but since Autopackage is
a means to install software on the hard disk, I thought it appropriate to
discuss my thoughts with ya all...

You know, I have become more and more web-based in my software selection and
noticed that that is the trend... Google Docs, mp3tunes, Meebo, PDF
editor/converter etc.

However, if all things go online, then I fear that Autopackage would become
less used, so I wonder if any of you are as "web-based" as me, and feels the
same way? In other words, I hope that Autopackage does not become
marginalised in this movement to bring software online...

Also, am I right to say that most web-based software are NOT open source? If
so, where can we find FOSS web-based alternatives?
