Right, the "stream on demand" style of app eliminates most of the
headaches that autopackage tries to solve, and introduces a bunch more
:)

I'd be interested to see some statistics on this. I'd be surprised if
web based apps were more or less open source than client side apps.
Remember that most client-side software is closed source as well, if
you count internally developed software.
