It appears I only depend on Mono then.

Sorry, typo. Realised that AFTER I sent it. Typical. Presumably your telling
me to remove prepareBuild line because you assume my project is NOT using
configure and make? If so, see below. ;)

My project DOES use configure and makefiles. MonoDevelop can create a
tarball of sources and create the configure and make files using auto-tools.
My plan was to create such a tarball and then do a bog standard autopackage
based upon that.
