I found the TracSpamFilter plugin which I've installed and configured.

It uses a lot of techniques to detect spam in submitted content
(Blacklisting, bayesan filter, aksimet, regex etc.) so hopefully this
will lessen the amount of spam.

If anyone gets problem with legit content not getting through, contact
me (or this list) so that we can fix it (I believe the filter keeps a
log so that it's possible to correct it in case it makes a wrong call)
