Hello

You wrote c:/user instead of c:/users and program data instead of programData

Perhaps you misconfigured your FileSet

Have you activated VSS too for user profiles it could be interesting cause of locks over some user files like ost/pst and others.

Objet : [Bacula-users] Backing up Users folders on Windows machines

Hi
I hope someone with experience on bacula backups on windows machines has an answer to this We need to backup two folders on our test set up, Users folder and Program Data folder, both are restricted folders in Windows security architecture I have set up Bacula FD and SD locally on the windows machines, and they are running under the System account, but it seems that Bacula can not access these folders to make backups, the log entry says:
Could not stat c:/user : ERR=No error (Same message for the "program data"-folder"
The fact that it is saying No error instead of reporting an access denied is strange in itself, but I can't imagine any other reason for failure but perhaps i am mistaken(BTW, the rest of the job finished
correctly)
Has anyone had experience with this or knows why this happens and how to fix this??

Sincerely /Mehrdad
