When you run a Bacula backup job for the first time, if the level is Incremental or Differential, the very first line in the job log will tell you: "No prior or suitable Full backup found in catalog for the current FileSet. Doing FULL backup." Once A full has run to completion, then you will be able to run Incrementals and Differentials.
