Morning Udo,

I have been talking with Sergio and now just realizing it was off list. Basically I would like to do it on a mounted drive which I understand is doable as it as you said unencrypted.

I think the next question I have is how do I start with bacula and getting it setup to take backups onto the local machine for me to move to a remote backup location.

Regards,
Jonathan Aquilina

Good Morning,

Is it possible to use bacula to backup fully encrypted disks that are encrypted with LUKS?

Jonathan Aquilina

It's a bit unclear, what you want to accomplish. If you LUKS drive is mounted, the data on it is not encrypted. Are you trying to backup the (unmount) LUKS device? Please share more info.

Best Regards
Udo
