Re: Writes sometimes stall on Ultrium 7 drive

Ken,

I wonder if this could be a hardware issue with the drive. I'm guessing
this drive has been in production with bacula for some time. Please
correct me if I'm wrong.

How frequently has this issue occurred?

I am curious what the btape tests at the link below show. Please be advised
that these tests are data destructive, so perform them with a scratch tape,
preferably one not labeled by bacula (the existing label will be wiped by
the test).
