thank you for your answer and sorry for the delay in my answer.
I have already checked the limits, there aren't any (checked with docker inspect and with the files 
in /proc).

may sb rembers: I had already written to this list with this problem on 12/2025. 
  
Unfortunately, the problem is still here:

Some (not all) bigger Backups (> ca. 300GB) keep failing with: Error: Error syncing volume "Vol-0498" on device "$DEV" (/mnt/$MOUNTPOINT). ERR=Out of memory. 
Sometime (not always) there is also the error:  Appending data failed
18-Mar 21:28 dir-$DIR JobId 5160: Error: openssl.c:108 TLS read/write failure.: ERR=error:80000020:system library::Broken pipe 
  
My setup is Bacula 15.0.2, running in docker containers.     
  
Please check what is your resource limitation on this container.
