Problem recycling tape

Hi
    I have a tape “NTA658” that had an apparent barcode label error on it. I replaced the barcode label with a new one and did a mt -f /dev/nst0 erase. I’m now trying to relabel it (new label = ARR379L8”) but I get the following:
