You can't use less-than with a vector, though you can get the length of
the vector using "| myVector |".  The vector length can be used with
less-then or equals to give the same result: the vector (0, 0, 0) is
the only vector with length zero.

As for why you're getting an error using "==" with a vector, it seems
to work okay for me, so I suspect that the error might be elsewhere
in the simulation (even on the same line).  If you can't track it down,
feel free to send me the simulation off-list and I can have a look at
it.
