I had a look at this and it seems that some of configuration files that are distributed with JungleBoogie are using Windows style newlines (\r), and not Mac OS X style newlines (\n). This seems to be preventing the code from running correctly under OS X. I'm going to make a change to the breve "File" class so that it will detect both, and this will be available next week when I make the final 1.9 release.
