To be honest, semicolons at the end of lines or between commands seem rather like a rather poor choice of a symbol and the whole process seems quite backwards. Coming from a background of "I learned to read English first so I naturally think that way", when someone presses return to go to the next line, the compiler should think "hey, I'll just treat that like the programmer wanted the line to end". If the programmer wants the next line to be a continuation of the line before it, there should be a "line continuation symbol" such as Apple's option L. - Zav I love the camera and the camera loves me. http://pets.reptilian-feline.net/images/zav.jpg _______________________________________________ breve mailing list [email protected] http://www.spiderland.org/mailman/listinfo/breve
