Walker and SuperWalker demos bug (2.1b)

Hi, I had previously reported that the Walker and
SuperWalker demos' genome file loading caused a crash
on Breve 2.0.1, and now I tried the 2.1 beta and,
while it doesn't crash anymore, doesn't work at all.

The demo runs fine, but trying to save a genome
produces this in the output window:
"Could not retreive filename from user dialog: write
cancelled."
And, unlike version 2.0.1, the Save dialog doesn't
actually appear. This used to work fine in that
previous version, but genome loading caused a crash.
Now, in version 2.1b it doesn't cause a crash, but it
produces the following output:
"Could not retrieve filename from load dialog: load
cancelled."
Again, the dialog doesn't show.
Is this a bug or an API change in dialog handling?
