Use of constants (define) in array declarations

Would it be possible, in a future version, to add
support for constants in array definitions?

For instance, this currently works:
{
 +variables:
    things (10 objects).
  ...
}

but this doesn't:

@define NUM_THINGS 10.
...
{
 +variables:
    things (NUM_THINGS objects).
  ...
}
