I'm sorry I havn't, I just tried the demo before PostgreSQL support was added. I've always been impressed with PostgreSQL performance and feature set. Where I work I have databases that have several gigs of data and tables with many millions of rows and once I optimized the queries and added indexes it works fast and great! Basicly I choose PostgreSQL for its feature set and stability (foreign keys, etc), if the speed was good that was a added bonus. I enjoy doing benchmarks from time to time (http://users.altec.org/~russ/benchmarks.html), if you really want to know maybe I could help. Nothing against MySQL many people use it and it works good for them. PostgreSQL has just really impressed me and has proven to me to be really good and stable. Recently where I work we moved all our projects from Oracle to PostgreSQL, with the good documentation and community support that PostgreSQL offers I would say we have better performance and stability with PostgreSQL. Of course part of that reason could be we didn't have a Oracle specialized DBA on staff. It's pretty tough to do benchmarks, as slight configurations in the database could make a large difference. I wouldn't be the best at optimizing MySQL so there would be a bias right there.
