Ok... I don't get any errors with the changes to textreport or the 
advanced query, but I don't get any data either.  The report is empty 
other than the header info and the advanced query also shows the header 
but no data.

Might be interesting to debug this not knowing any postgres.... =)

I just commented out the $user_options and $ORDER_BY_LIST in the 
advanced query and no difference, so there's something else in there.

No errors, but no data either.  Hmmm...
