What about MySQL indexes? http://www.mysql.com/documentation/mysql/bychapter/manual_Reference.html#CREATE_INDEX Althouth I wouldn't think indexes make that much of a difference when there isn't very much data in there. Atleast that is the way it works in databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle.
