Is a conversation possible for "old" bug reports in the database, so that
they contain unicode instead of iso-8859-1?

Ok, what do you mean you converted the database? I've had special
characters in my database and didn't convert anything on the database ever
and I don't believe I had any problems with it.

Of course, I don't use special characters often so maybe there is a problem I
don't know of (I only use/speak english), so if you can enlighten me as to what
exactly you did and why you felt you had to (I don't think anything changed
from 0.2.[45] to 0.2.6 that would require such a conversion).

Anthill isn't going to do any conversion of special characters.. I've looked at it
and it looks expensive in terms of processing speed and bulk code. So I've
ruled that out. The language files could possibly be translated to using html
codes, but that's up to the translators... they're volunteer and I certainly don't
have the time to do that.

But I think those are bandaids so I'd really like to know why you did the
conversion in the first place because now it sounds like you want to convert
back, right?
