The mailer daemon name is the name of your robot, such as "anthill-daemon"
(this would be the from name on any emails sent out).

The mailer daemon email address is the email address notices get sent out
as.  You can use something like [email protected] or the
administrator address, etc.  Whatever you use is what alerts, bug diffs,
etc. get sent out as.

What do you mean hangs?  It comes up with a blank page?  It comes up but
doesn't let you add a new user?

It should have nothing to do with your mailer daemon stuff.
