Re: email notification

thanks for your prompt reply.
To be honest I am not that familiar with setting up email servers.
Some background which may give you a better understanding:
For evaluation pruposes I have installed the Anthill on a Windows Server.
I did configure the Mailer Daemon's Name to an ip of our mail server
Why are you using system programms called with @mail in d_mailuser()  ?
$retval = @mail($email, "[$subject BUG #$bid] $shortdesc", $message,...
Would it be possible to use here purely php functionality?
Hope the question is not too stupid... ;-)
