It seems like the harmony repo does do this, which is great. I
definitely think it's the right way to go. But a lot of the things you
listed as "needing doing" need doing from the perspective of converting
trunk into BMO. E.g. "back out the login name != email address patch".
Do we need to make a new list from the reverse perspective?
