Improved performance is always fun, so thanks for doing this.

I see that the patches are not planned for 5.0, is the intent to have it in 5.1?

How does bugzilla under PSGI compare to mod_perl? I'm currently running a
installation under mod_perl. Will the general recommendation to migrate to PSGI
when it is accepted in mainline?
