gnatsd crashes with a segmentation fault when invoked from the command line. Trying to telnet to gnatsd produces a "connection closed" immediately (details below). GNATS 4.0 gcc (GCC) 3.3.2 20031022 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.2-1) No warnings or errors noticed on compilation. Standard options chosen (directories, etc.) Fedora Core 1, kernel upgraded to 2.6.5 Perhaps this problem occurs only when using Fedora Core 1 ? I saw a previous message posted to help-gnats by David Miller (which, like mine, received no reply) who was also using that flavour of Linux and whose telnets were also immediately closed. $ telnet localhost 1529 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. $ $ /usr/local/libexec/gnats/gnatsd Segmentation fault $ This happens for user gnats and for root. ___________________________________________________________ALL-NEW Yahoo!
