Thanks for the patch!  I'll try to test this out later this week.  If
anyone else would like to do some testing, it would be appreciated.

We can continue this discussion about security and gnatsd.  I'll add a
Security Enhancement in the TODO list for 5.x releases.  We can decide
whether or not we want to hold off on the PAM addition until TLS and/or
SASL is introduced with TLS being of higher priority than SASL.  I vote
to allow it, but document the warnings and possible solutions regarding
security.

Feedback, ideas, rebuttals?
