lists.

I dont believe that is whats happening at all.  It appears that someone
subscribed an address that points to another list which is moderated.  

The moderated list of course replies to the gnats lists and the message
is propagated to the rest of us.

I dont remember if this list has moderation, but if it does the
moderators should disable the offending address.
