Thanks again for your time and effort!...

1) Yes, the developer role in the project is "developer".

2) Yes, I'm logged in with the developer user.

One thing that I've noticed is that:

- if the admin set the role of this user in the project as "manager / admin"
the user can see the users (and himself) to assign in the combo box.

- if the role is "developer" the user can see the combo box but there's no
option "ME" or another developer, just the managers and admins.

- if the role is "less than developer" ther user can not see the combo box.
