It certainly doesn't hurt. I figured since the view issues page always defaults to the hide status of "closed (and above)" that there was a way to change it, without forcing it in the code or anything. I set it and apply the filter and it of course works - never gets remembered. I've tried looking for a config setting, or a way to set it to none in the defaults file.
