[Victor] I would recommend you upgrade to MantisBT 1.0.0, then from
that upgrade to MantisBT 1.1.7. This is the recommend upgrade path
from any pre-1.0.0 release. Probably with a 1.0.0rc2 you should be
fine, but it would be better to go the safer route.

[Victor] MantisBT 1.1.x is compatible with PHP 4.4. You will need to
upgrade to PHP 5.x before upgrading to MantisBT 1.2.x when it is
available.
