jpgraph diaplay issue

Hello, I have a strange problem with display of graphs and I do not understand what is going on. My configuration is as follows: Mantis 1.1.8 on Windows XP, Apache-2.2.14 (Win32)/PHP-5.2.11/MySQL-5.1/JpGraph3.0.6/gd2(bundled 2.0.34 compatible) On the same machine I have created two instances of Mantis; one for production and another one as a sandbox for experimenting. This is achieved by creating two different databases on the same MySQL server with different userID and passwords for each Mantis instance. While I am able to display summary graphs OK on the SandBox-Mantis, in the production-Mantis I see only small boxes with red 'x' for each graph. Can anyone help me? I do not understand the behavior and how I can fix it?
