The API is quite tightly linked to the MantisBT core so that would be just asking for more trouble. > Any advice is helpful. 1.1.7 is long out-of-date, and not supported anymore. I strongly recommend you upgrade to the latest 1.2.x stable version (1.2.15 at the moment, but 1.2.16 will be released soon).
